Printed Circuit Board (PCB), also called Printed Circuit Board in KingFung Technoloyg Co,LTD. is one of the important components of electronic products. Electronic products made from printed circuit boards have the advantages of high reliability, good consistency, high mechanical strength, light weight, small volume and easy standardization. Almost every electronic device, from electronic watches and calculators to computers, communications equipment and electronic radar systems, USES a printing plate for the electrical interconnection between them whenever electronic components are present.
In the early days of electronic technology, circuits were made up of power, wires, switches and components. The components are wired together, and the elements are fixed in three dimensions in space. With the development of electronic technology, the function and structure of electronic products become very complex, and the layout of components and interconnection wiring are greatly restricted by space. Therefore, it is required to plan components and wiring.
At the beginning of the 20th century, people began to study ways of replacing wiring with printing in order to simplify the production of electronic machines, reduce the wiring between electronic parts and reduce the production cost.
In 1936, Austrian Paul Eisler published foil technology in Britain, using printed circuit boards in a radio device.Use a board as the basis, plan the layout of components on the board, determine the connection point of components, use the terminal post as the contact point, use the wire to connect points according to the circuit requirements, one side of the board wiring, the other side of the components. This is the original circuit board. This type of circuit board is very popular in the vacuum tube era, because the lines are distributed on the same plane, there are not too many cover points, it is easy to check. At this time, the circuit board has initially formed the concept of "layer".
PCB has the following functions in electronic equipment:
1. Provide mechanical support for fixation and assembly of various electronic components, such as integrated circuits, to realize wiring and electrical connection or electrical insulation between various electronic components, such as integrated circuits, and provide required electrical characteristics.
2. Provide welding resistance graph for automatic welding, and provide identification characters and graphics for component installation, inspection and maintenance.
3. After the adoption of printing plate in electronic equipment, due to the consistency of the same kind of printing plate, the error of manual wiring is avoided, and the electronic components can be automatically inserted or pasted, automatically solder, and automatically detected, which ensures the quality of electronic products, improves labor productivity, reduces costs, and facilitates maintenance.
Due to the rapid development of electronic products, China has become the world's most important production base for printed circuit boards, with its advantages of industrial distribution, cost and market.
Printed circuit board develops from single layer to double panel, multi-layer board and flexible board, and develops towards high precision, high density and high reliability. With the continuous reduction of volume, cost reduction and performance improvement, the printed circuit board will still maintain a strong vitality in the future development of electronic products
